Bio

Dr Yun Zhou received her PhD from the Australian National University in 2019. Her thesis examines how Christian women transformed the institution of the family through the print media in Republican China. She has published articles on the history of Christianity in China with a particular focus on women’s role. Her current project is an ongoing examination of Christian publications in the 1920s and 1930s. Dr Zhou teaches courses on Modern Chinese language.
