
Dr Wenting Cheng
Dr Cheng is Grand Challenge Fellow for the Grand Challenge Project Zero Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific. She undertook her PhD project at the School of Regulation and Governance (RegNet) of the Australian National University from 2014 to 2018. Wenting was a researcher at the Development and Research Center of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) from August 2009 to January 2014. At the Center, she participated in over 20 research projects and submitted policy briefs related to China’s intellectual property laws, policies and national strategies, especially focusing on the patent system. She obtained her MPhil degree from Peking University in 2009. Wenting has published extensively in the area of intellectual property and the global governance of knowledge.
