The Australian National University is one of the foremost institutions in the world outside of China for research and teaching about China. The University's academic staff includes close to fifty China specialists in the social sciences and humanities spread throughout a number of departments. Research and teaching of Chinese studies at the University are concentrated in the ANU College of Asia & the Pacific.
Travel Grants
CIW Travel Grants are designed to support research or conference visits that focus on China, Taiwan, or the Chinese diaspora.
CIW PhD scholarships
CIW is offering three-year scholarships to up to two outstanding domestic and international students to pursue innovative research on China and/or the Chinese-speaking world at the ANU.
