The China Journal, edited by Jon Unger and Anita Chan, is a refereed, scholarly publication that focuses on topics relating to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan since 1949. Journal Citation Report has ranked The China Journal as No. 1 in the world among area-studies journals for impact and relative importance on a number of occasions.

China Heritage Quarterly

This e-journal covers recent developments and scholarship in areas related to China's heritage. China Heritage Quarterly is produced under the aegis of the China Heritage Project.

East Asian History

East Asian History contains articles on subjects of historical significance in the East Asian area, as well as on issues of contemporary concern or neglected aspects and sub-regions of Asia.

New Mandala

New Mandala is hosted by the Australian National University’s (ANU) Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs. It provides anecdote, analysis and new perspectives on Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei, East Timor and Singapore, and has featured writing from China’s Yunnan Province and Bangladesh.

Chinese Southern Diaspora Studies

It is a refereed e-journal specialising in Chinese communities in Southeast Asia and the Southwest Pacific, from the earliest times to the present.

East Asia Forum

This online forum provides a place for dialogue on Asian economic and public policy affairs and is coordinated through the Crawford School of Economics and Government, ANU. Articles concerning China appear regularly.
