Projects

The Australian Centre on China in the World (CIW) provides financial and logistical support for ANU academics to undertake research, education and engagement projects related to China. Our flagship project, the China Story Yearbook series, is in its seventh year, with the 2018 Yearbook: Power due out in March 2019. Other ongoing projects include the Made in China Journal and Yearbook, edited by a number of our former Post-doctoral Fellows, and the Little Red Podcast, co-hosted by Graeme Smith (Coral Bell School, ANU) and Louisa Lim (University of Melbourne), and winner of the News and Current Affairs podcast of the year at the 2018 Australian Podcast awards.

A number of new projects are expected to emerge from a major grants round for 2019, with all China scholars at the ANU encouraged to apply.
