Wenting Cheng

Bio
Dr Wenting Cheng is a Research Fellow at the Grand Challenge – Zero Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific project based at the ANU College of Law. Wenting has worked in at the State Intellectual Property Office of China for 5 years before starting her PhD at the School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) at ANU. Her thesis is entitled China: Rule-taker or Rule-maker in the International Intellectual Property System? Wenting has published in leading journals in the area of regulation of technology and intellectual property, like IIC - International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law and European Intellectual Property Review, and Journal of World Intellectual Property. Her ongoing research interest is China in global governance. As a Grand Challenge Research Fellow, Wenting’s current research focuses on the technology regulation and international trade in relation to renewable energy.
