Bio
Qing Guan is a Research Fellow at the School of Demography, College of Arts and Social Sciences. Her PhD thesis focuses on the spatial integration of Chinese immigrants in Australia, where she examines the distribution and migration of recent mainland Chinese immigrants in relation to their socioeconomic, political, and linguistic integration in Australia. Qing’s research interests are in the Chinese population in Australia, international migration to Australia and in the Asia Pacific region, demographic modelling, migration theory and modelling, population spatial analysis, and internal migration in China.
