Paul Burke is a Professor and Head of the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. Paul’s research focus is energy economics, including energy demand and decarbonisation opportunities in China. Paul has published papers on China’s coal demand in the China Economic Review and Energy Economics. He also carries out research in environmental economics and transport economics. Paul is also a project convenor within the ANU Grand Challenge research program Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific.
