Paul Burke is an Associate Professor in the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. Paul’s research focus is energy economics, including energy demand and decarbonisation opportunities for China. Paul has published papers on China’s coal demand in the China Economic Review and Energy Economics. He also carries out research on environmental economics, transport economics, and economic development. Paul is a key team member of the ANU Grand Challenge research program Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific. He co-leads research on economic policy frameworks under the Australian-German Energy Transition Hub.
