Bio
Kim Xu is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Demography at the Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University. Kim’s current research focuses on the health, well-being, and longevity of older adults in low- and middle-income countries. She received her PhD from the Australian National University in 2020. Her thesis examines continuity and change in Chinese family formation patterns over the 20th century. She has published research on changing marriage patterns in the PRC.
