Bio

Dr. Hyung-geun Kim is an Assistant Professor at Silla University, Busan, South Korea. His main research area so far has been focused on the regional economies of China. He is currently planning to conduct research on possible methods for South Korea and Australia to associate with China’s 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, one of the two main goals of the country’s One Belt One Road Initiative, and to compare views related to the issue between South Korea and Australia in the research. Dr Kim visited the Australian Centre on China in the World between 2019-2020.
