Bio

I'm researching China's relations with mainland Southeast Asia, especially Thailand. Some of this research is for a book on Thailand's alliance with the United States amidst geopolitical change. Some is for a separate research project looking at the increasing integration of mainland Southeast Asian states with each other and southern China. Starting this year I also will teach a new Master's subject STST8056 "Strategy and Southeast Asia" that will have a seminar devoted to China's significance for Southeast Asia.
