The Australian National University is one of the foremost institutions in the world outside of China for research and teaching about China. The University's academic staff includes close to fifty China specialists in the social sciences and humanities spread throughout a number of departments. Research and teaching of Chinese studies at the University are concentrated in the ANU College of Asia & the Pacific.
